Research and the Flower Farmer

Research and the Flower Farmer connects specialty cut flower growers with current university and industry research through practical, grower-focused webinars. Sessions cover topics such as crop performance, postharvest handling, greenhouse production, season extension, and storage, emphasizing translating research findings into practical farm applications. Each webinar includes time for growers to ask questions and engage directly with the researcher. The series strengthens the connection between research and farm practice, helping ensure that ASCFG-funded research reaches growers and provides useful information for production and business decision-making.
