Hydrangea 'Limelight'
- Long, strong, straight stems
- Fast growing, can harvest year after planting
- Use liners to establish
- Cold hardy to Zone 3
- Pinch/prune to increase stem number and decrease head size
- Can be harvested at three different stages
– Immature with some green showing
– Fully mature with all bracts white
– Past mature with rosy pink bracts - “Must have” for any cut woody grower
Amaranthus 'Hot Biscuits'
- Tall with very large plumes, provide support
- Pinch plants when young or cut main spike early and use laterals
- Seed propagated, typically direct seeded
- Loved by flea beetles
- Can be used fresh as well as dried
- Harvest after plumes are well developed but before seed matures
