Designing Incredible Foam-Free Floral Installations for Events and More
Anna Stouffer, Urban Petals
Wednesday, July 9, 2025, 8:30 a.m. — 3:30 p.m.
Join Anna Stouffer of Urban Petals for a fantastic day-long workshop on crafting a large, foam free floral installation intended for formal events and weddings. In the morning, Anna will teach attendees about color palettes, flower varieties, and working with local flower growers to source the freshest materials. She will then share techniques for installing a large floral arrangement that last in a variety of environments.
During the afternoon, all attendees will be split into small groups of ten to twelve people. Each group will receive a scenario card prompt (for example, the client is a bride who prefers these colors) and after some discussion, the group members will create their own, smaller installations. This allows the participants to practice some of the techniques they have just learned. Throughout the workshop portion, Anna will provide assistance and feedback to all participants. Lunch, floral materials, and additional supplies are included in the registration fee.
Featured on Martha Stewart Real Weddings and Style Me Pretty, Anna Stouffer has been recognized on the national scene for her stylish, lush floral designs. She founded Urban Petals in 2012 and has over a decade of experience as an event florist. Learn more about Urban Petals here.
